Ms U.T. Malinzi, the Municipal Manager, as duly instructed by the Speaker of Raymond Mhlaba Municipality (Cllr T.
Ngaye), hereby gives notice that, in terms of Section 19(a) of the Municipal Systems Act 32 of 2000, an Ordinary
Council meeting of the Raymond Mhlaba Municipality will be held on Tuesday, 31 March 2026 at 10h00 in the New Council Chamber in Alice.

Eligible candidates (18–22 years old) are invited to collect application forms at any of the following Municipal Offices:
- Bedford Municipal Offices – 1 Donkin Street, Bedford
- Adelaide Municipal Offices – Market Square, Adelaide
- Seymour Unit – Curson Street, KwaMaqoma
- KwaMaqoma Offices – 8 Somerset Street, KwaMaqoma

The Raymond Mhlaba Local Municipality in partnership with the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment are implementing Young Graduate Programme through EPWP. This programme seeks recruit young and unemployed graduates within the area of Raymong Mhlaba Municipality to deal with environmental challenges.

The Hon Mayor, Cllr Nomhle Sango, calls on all community members to join in observing the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Children and Women. Together, we stand firm in our commitment to creating safe spaces and protecting the most vulnerable members of our community.

The Raymond Mhlaba Municipality, in partner with government department, will be bringing essential government services directly to the Doringkloof community. 

Notice is hereby given in terms of the Local Government Systems Act 32 of 2000, Section 16 (1) and the Municipal Finance Management Act 56 of 2003, that the Raymond Mhlaba Local Municipality will convene the Annual Report Roadshows for the 2024/2025 Financial year.  Community members are hereby invited to attend the Annual Report Roadshows as scheduled.
