THE FOLLOWING AREAS WILL BE AFFECTED
Raymond Mhlaba Local Municipality is in the process of establishing Ward Committees. Ward Committees are politically neutral committees of the Municipality, and their establishment is to give effect to Section 152 (1)(e) of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, (Act 108 of 1996) read together with part 4 of the Municipal Structures Act 117 of 1998.
Mayor Zingiswa Rasmeni encourages all young people who resides within Raymond Mhlaba Municipality to visit any Public University or TVET College or apply online for NSFAS Funding for 2022.
The deadline for NSFAS applications is Friday, 7 January 2022.

The Raymond Mhlaba Municipality would like to inform all residents, businesses and stakeholders that the Municipality is continuing with the restoration of power to the areas that are affected by power faults and outages.
On Sunday 26th and today, the municipal team managed to excavate the remaining electrical poles kwaDubu and restored power to 15 households.
