IMPOUNDMENT OF ANIMALS BY LAW

RAYMOND MHLABA LOCAL MUNICIPALITY BY-LAW RELATING TO IMPOUNDMENT OF ANIMALS

By-law published in Provincial Gazette number 4184 dated 11 February 2019 Under the powers conferred by section 156 of Constitution, 1996, read with section 11(3)(m) of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, 2000 (Act No. 32 of 2000), the Raymond Mhlaba Local Municipality enacts as follows:-

This by-law apply to the area of jurisdiction of the Municipality, provided that nothing prevents any animal detained interms of this by-law from being impounded in a pound or any similar facility established by any other municipality, or other lawful authority.
