In order to have your property rated as an agricultural property* which is used for agricultural purposes** kindly complete the following in full and return by hand to any Raymond Mhlaba Municipality Office or post to P.O. Box 36 Fort Beaufort 5720 NOT LATER THAN THE 31 August 2019 . Only applications with the original commissioner's oath stamp will be accepted i.e. no copies or faxed applications will be considered. Please note that the onus lies with the applicant to confirm that the municipality has received his /her application
* 'agricultural property' refers to farm properties and smallholdings used for agricultural purposes and farm properties not used for any purpose;
** It must be noted that in terms of the definition under section 1 ( 1 ) of the act agricultural purpose "excludes the use of a property for the purpose of eco-tourism or for the trading in or hunting of game
