Raymond Mhlaba Municipality has been granted a court interdict against Eskom by the Grahamstown High Court today. The court interdict is preventing the Power Utility from continuing with its planned bulk electricity supply disruptions in Adelaide, Bedford, and Fort Beaufort from the 23 December 2019.
Through its Lawyers, Raymond Mhlaba Municipality will continue to engage Eskom until an amicable solution is reached. Furthermore, the Municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused as a result of the statement sent by Eskom and wants to assure all
of its residents, businesses and stakeholders that it's still committed to deliver uninterrupted services.
